Motoring: Hot Peugeot a Hard Case
HOT on the heels of a hat-trick of rally success, Peugeot has turned up the heat on its top-selling hatchback.
Built at the French manufacturer's UK plant at Ryton, Coventry, the Peugeot 206 GTi 180 is intended to follow in the scorch marks left by the legendary 205 GTi.
With a 2.0 litre engine developing 180bhp tucked under the bonnet, this latest version of the 206 is about as close as you can get to the racing Peugeot which has dominated the World Rally Championship for the past three years.
But despite its competitive pounds 14,995 price tag this hot hatch is definitely a driver's delight - and a passenger's nightmare.
