New Oracle Application Server 10g Gets Backing from Leading Software Vendors


SAN FRANCISCO Oracle Corp., the worlds largest enterprise software company, recently announced leading independent software vendors (ISVs) are providing solutions for Oracle Application Server.

The growing list of more than 1,500 ISVs choosing the latest edition of Oracles middleware software includes a wide range of third-party and industry-specific providers - from business integration, content management, systems management and wireless to financial services, life sciences and manufacturing. Oracle customers can take full advantage of leading software from partners, while benefiting from the performance, reliability, scalability and security of Oracle Application Server 10g.

A large percentage of the potential application server market is as yet unfulfilled. Successful vendors will offer comprehensive solutions that support vertical market needs as well as important horizontal functions, said Steve Garone, chief analyst and managing partner at The AlignIT Group. The growing number of partners supporting Oracle Application Server 10g is proof of Oracles commitment to partner retention and enablement. Partner relationships will continue to enhance Oracles competitive position by making a wide variety of solutions easily available.
