Celebrating New Era in Child Care; A RANGE OF LEARNING AND HEALTH FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN AND THE FAMILY

CHILDREN and staff are celebrating the official opening of Camp Hill's new nursery, which promises the very best in facilities for families.
The nursery at Camp Hill Primary School, in Hollystitches Road, was opened by the Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, Martin Dunne.
It marks the completion of the first phase in the transformation of the former Hollies Infant School into Camp Hill's new Early Years Centre.
The old 1950s infant school building is undergoing an extensive refurbishment which will have cost in the region of pounds 1 million when finished.
As well as the nursery, the Nuneaton centre also includes a wide range of other services aimed at supporting young children and their families.
These include the Hollyberries Nursery - a neighbourhood nursery offering affordable childcare from birth onwards, a new cafe, a stimulating nurture room and a range of what are called Stay and Play sessions run in conjunction with Home Start.It is also the base for Warwick-shire County Council's area Early Years advisory team and when complete it will also offer a toy library, IT training, creche, a parents' room and other services for the community, including links with health services. …
