Hosking Houses Trust, the charitable trust which provides a house and an income for a prospective woman writer, is looking to make its second appointment.
The Trust, which was launched in 2002, is the brainchild of Sarah Hosking. Inspired by Virginia Woolf's A Room Of One's Own, and aware of the pressures on women and society's expectations of them, especially after having 'dropped everything' to nurse her ailing parents, Sarah's aim, via the Trust, is to provide literary and other artistic fellowships to women over the age of 40.
