French Canadians Win Power Consultancy
The contract to draw up a 25-year plan for the Saudi Arabian electricity industry has been awarded to SNC Lavalin assisted by Hydro Quebec International, both Montreal-based French Canadian companies.
The contract, won in stiff competition with leading power consultancies including Electricite de France (EdF), was placed by The Electricity Corporation, the state-owned national power project company.
