Cbi Talk on Economic Future
Cbi Wales will be staging its annual economics seminar at the National Assembly building next week. This year the seminar will again be presented by CBI chief economic adviser, Ian McCafferty. Mr McCafferty is responsible for the CBI's work on economic analysis and forecasting, and manages its programme of industry surveys. He will talk through his views of global and local economic prospects.
The presentation on June 27 at Crickhowell House will start at 6pm.
VALUE clothing retailer Ethel Austin is updating its image by giving a major facelift to seven of its stores in South Wales.
The project forms part of the first phase of a multi- million-pound programme, known as Refresh, designed to reflect the business's new brand image.
Work on stores at Merthyr Tydfil, Port Talbot, Carmarthen and Pontypridd has already been completed, with the remaining outlets due to undergo a transformation in the next two months.
