Each year at the opening meeting of the Annual International Conference of the Photographic Society of America, many awards are presented (including Society Recognition Awards, Editorial Awards, the Membership Award, etc.) some of which are in memory of former members of the Society. Beginning with the Victor Scales Memorial Award, Tony Patti, Hon. PSA, FPSA, has culled from the historical files some facts about the member for whom the award was named.
