Around the Bend; Mandarin Museum Art Exhibit Focuses on North Florida's History

A one-man art show of works that highlight the past and present look of North Florida will open next month at the Mandarin Museum at Walter Jones Historical Park, 11964 Mandarin Road.
Twelve works of Mandarin artist James S. Freeman will be on display for the next three months during museum hours, which are 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. New oil paintings will be rotated into the display, while prints will be available for purchase.
Officials at the museum, operated by the nonprofit Mandarin Museum and Historical Society, said the show is part of a plan to expand the facility's exhibits with ā¦
