Women to Gather for World Day of Prayer

Women around the world will gather Friday to pray collectively all day in observance of World Day of Prayer.
This year's theme, "United Under God's Tent," symbolizes God's actions and serves as a call to action for all people. In the United States, the event is organized by Church Women United, an ecumenical group formed in the U.S. in the 1940s.
In Naperville, women from about 30 churches with Church Women United chapters will celebrate World Day of Prayer at 9 a.m. Friday at Grace United Methodist Church, 300 Gartner Road.
