Five IAC Databases to Premiere on DataTimes Online Service


Information Access Company's (IAC) business databases will be available on DataTimes starting early this year as part of the company's new information service to be marketed to a broad business audience and priced affordably for companies and organizations of any size.

PROMT, Trade & Industry ASAP, Newsletter Database, and MARS (Marketing and Advertising Reference Service) will be available on DataTimes with coverage beginning January 1990. Globalbase will be added the first quarter of 1995 with coverage beginning January 1993. All files will be updated daily, except Globalbase, which will be updated weekly.

According to Max Henry, IAC vice president & general manager, Corporate Division, "IAC is pleased to have its most widely-used business databases be a part of a comprehensive electronic information service that is practical and cost-efficient for any business to use. We expect that the thousands of business users who have yet to travel on the information superhighway will find this online service from DataTimes an easy way to join in and access the wealth of business information offered by IAC's databases.
