Apple Editing Suite a Cut above the Rest

Apple has released the latest version of its popular editing suite, Final Cut Studio, and this new version promises to deliver unprecedented quality and capabilities to its ever-growing user base.
With its proven easy-to-use layout, Final Cut has become the benchmark in film editing for filmmakers worldwide. Now, Final Cut Studio 2 promises to deliver a complete system which will allow users to create broadcast quality content in the comfort of their own home.
The new Color application was also introduced, allowing for powerful colour correction. Most users will find Apple Color to be geared towards professional and broadcast applications. The program functions on a round-trip, task-based workflow in which users can send footage into multiple "rooms" to be treated for different forms of colour correction
Final Cut Pro 6 features an Open Format Timeline that enables users to import video clips from a wide variety of formats and frame rates into one single timeline without the need to transcode.
