CLARKE Carlisle grabbed a superb equaliser for Burnley with an overhead kick deep into injury-time.
Bristol City thought they had done enough for victory, with sub Darren Byfield scoring twice in the last 10 minutes.
But the home side failed to clear a corner and the ball towards Carlisle, who secured a precious point for the Clarets. "It's a great point for us because they were better than us today," said Burnley manager Steve Cotterill.
"We showed great character to come back. A lot of sides would have buckled when their crowd get up, but we didn't and it was a fantastic goal by Clarke.
