Trade Finance Facility Supports Growth on World Stage

Plant and machinery exporter C & E International Plant has just completed the largest contract in its history thanks to a new trade finance facility that has been put in place by the International Banking Services division of NatWest.

C&E sources and sells heavy haulage equipment around the world, including bulldozers, motograders, wheeled loaders, crushers, dump trucks and excavators which are used in mining and construction activity.

The company also provides spare parts and units for all types of Caterpillar and Terex equipment.

This latest contract sees the company exporting five excavators to the Middle East. It is the latest in a series of contract wins that the company has enjoyed in recent years as it continues to expand its customer base around the world.

NatWest, through its international banking services team, based in its new International Banking Centre in Leicester, put in place a trade funding facility to support the contract and ensure smooth delivery of the plant without putting undue pressure on their existing working capital facilities.

Commenting on the new finance package and the opportunities it provides to the company, C&E International MD Tony Chapman said: "This contract is very important to the company.
