Cardiff & Co Boss to Leave Position
The company established earlier this year to market Cardiff yesterday officially confirmed the departure of its managing director.
Nicola Poultney said she is leaving her post because of a "number of professional and personal issues" she has which meant she could not continue in the post.
On Monday it emerged that, following a board meeting of Cardiff and Co last week, Birmingham-born Ms Poultney was considering her position as managing director.
In a statement released through Cardiff & Co yesterday she said, "It is with regret that I have decided that my time at Cardiff & Co should end shortly.
"I have a number of professional and personal issues I wish to pursue that would be in conflict with me remaining with the company.
"I have greatly enjoyed my time at Cardiff and Co and I have a great respect for this fabulous city and know it will go from strength to strength over the coming years.
"I am proud of what I have achieved in setting out the main building blocks that the company will need to promote and market the city region of Cardiff both nationally and internationally and I wish the company well for the future."…
