BBI Proves It's the Business by Being a Leader in Its Field

Leading facilities support specialist Beacon Business Interiors (BBI) has reported record turnover in its latest financial results.

The Brecon-headquartered company, which was formed in 1989, saw turnover increase from pounds 12m to pounds 16.5m during 2006.

The firm put this 40% increase down to a high-level sales strategy of differentiation of brand, product, service and personnel that distinguishes BBI from its competitors.

With plans to increase its turnover to pounds 19m by 2008, Andy Graham, BBI group CEO, said, "This has been another successful year for BBI and we have seen a real growth in the business.

"We have continued to grow in a controlled and profitable manner for the past 17 years and are committed to building market share and developing brand recognition to be synonymous with the highest levels of quality and customer service."

Over the past five years, BBI has grown exponentially, establishing its Leeds office in 2003 and its Gloucester office in 2004.

The company now employs 64 staff and has diversified from its origins as an interior design and fit-out company into an organisation aiming to service all of the facilities support needs of organisations, including health and safety consultancy advice and mechanical and electrical design and fit-out.

Working with some of the UK's leading firms, including Zurich Financial Services and Lloyds TSB Asset Management, both of which are still clients after 13 years, the company designs and implements facilities support solutions for organisations in a range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, education, government, leisure and commercial.

Mr Graham said, "Going forward, our strategy will be one of market penetration and market development. …
