New Version of InContext Spider Web Page Authoring Software Released
InContext Corporation, one of the leading developers of Internet software technology, has announced the release of Version 1.1 of InContext Spider, a new authoring product for the World Wide Web. This new version represents the first significant upgrade since the product's initial launch in July.
According to feedback received by the company, InContext Spider is considered to be the easiest to use and most powerful of the HTML Web processors on the market. InContext Spider 1.1 extends this capability with support for the Netscape Navigator browser. In the original product, users were able to create Web pages complete with Netscape extensions. With version 1.1, they will be able to preview them instantly in Navigator with a single mouse click.
InContext Spider was among the first HTML editors to be integrated with a browser, Enhance MOSAIC 2.0 from Spyglass. The integration of MOSAIC allows users to navigate the Web, download pages, and create hypertext links with simple point-and-click commands in a seamless process.
