A FORMER policeman is among five men arrested on suspicion of the murder21 years ago of a private detective who was on the verge of exposing policecorruption.
Danny Morgan, 37, was found with an axe embedded in his head outside a pub inSydenham, South London, in March 1987.
His family believes the fatherof-two was murdered by a professional hitmanbecause he had unearthed evidence of a drugs network involving corruptMetropolitan Police officers.
As well as the five held on suspicion of murder, a sixth man, who is a servingMet officer, has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office.
