PERFECT 10; BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE DECIDER: WIGAN V MANCHESTER UTD I've Won a Champions League with Bayern, but That's Nothing Compared to Life at United - I'd Give It A

OWEN HARGREAVES says he is now starting to discover what being a Manchester United player is all about.

The England midfielder won the Bundesliga title and the Champions League and played at the World Cup when he was with Bayern Munich.

But he believes that the next 10 days will be the biggest of his career.

United will clinch the Premier League at Wigan today - if they match or better Chelsea's points haul against Bolton - and go on to face the Londoners in the Champions League Final in Moscow on May 21.

Hargreaves said: "These next two games are why I left a huge club like Bayern Munich to come to United.

"I played in the Champions League quarter-finals for about six successive years with Bayern, we regularly won the German league and Cup. It is a massive club to play for.

"But I knew that Manchester United were even bigger.

"This has been another step up - and there aren't too many places in football that are bigger than Bayern Munich.

"The great thing about United isn't just the talent we have in the squad, it's the positive energy that surrounds you every day.

"The players, the coaches and the staff all have this tremendous belief that we will come through because we play the game the right way.

"It's all very well at the start of the season saying that you want to win the league title and reach the final of the Champions League, but actually doing that takes a lot more than words.

"We aren't thinking of Europe now. We want to take care of business in the League.

"We're in a great position going into the final game and once we get that out of the way then we will concentrate on the Champions League."

Hargreaves lifted European club football's most glittering prize seven years ago when Bayern beat Valencia.

But he admits that the success came too soon for him to enjoy it.

After an injury-ravaged first season at Old Trafford, he is delighted to be involved in the two games that will decide United's destiny - even if Sir Alex Ferguson has been using him as a right-back.

Hargreaves, 27, said: "I am sure that United bought me to play in midfield, but we have had injuries to key players and so you have to adapt.
