Graduation ceremonies for students at Churchill High School will be held June 13 at 7 p.m. at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts.
Fourteen seniors will graduate with a perfect 4.0 academic record this June.
Erika Dose, daughter of Steve and Vija Dose of Eugene,has served as student body president and as sophomore and junior class treasurer. She is a member of the National Honor Society, and also played golf and Powder Puff football. She plans to major in biology and Spanish at Santa Clara University in California.
Russell Drummond, son of Eliza and Ted Drummond, has been a member of National Honor Society, lettered in track and cross country, and is a member of the Jazz Band Ensemble. He plans to study engineering at Colorado School of Mines.
Ella Forrest, daughter of Bill and Beth Forrest, plans to study sports and exercise science at Oregon State University. She played four years of varsity volleyball, has been a member of the Powder Puff football team and served as head of the Executive Leadership Election Committee, Freshman adviser and National Honor Society.
Yahsolait Frazier-Gorby, daughter of Linda Gorby of Eugene and Ben Frazier of Elmira, will graduate from both Churchill and the Eugene International High School. She has been involved in international travel and studies through IHS and plans to travel next year before continuing her education.
Natalie Harrison, daughter of Bill and Cheri Harrison, plans to study pre-health and art studies at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. She has been the coordinator for the last four years for the "Mr. Lancer" event sponsored by the Children's Miracle Network. She served as student representative to the Eugene School Board, vice president of National Honor Society and played varsity soccer.
Heath Michael Jones, son of Lorna Anderson Jones of Eugene and Michael Jones of Springfield, plans to begin pre-med studies at the University of Portland. He is a member of National Honor Society and the National Association of High School Scholars.
Jerry Leung, son of Julie Ho and Derrick Leung, will graduate from both Churchill and the International High School. He has been a member of the drama and music departments, carrying key roles in productions of "Les Miserables" and "The Crucible." He was a contestant in the "Mr. Lancer" event. He plans to study at Oregon State University.
Kevin Lundgren, son of Fred and Sue Lundgren of Eugene, plans to study business and marketing at the University of Oregon. He has been a member of the Churchill Leadership Team and served as a freshman adviser.
Emily Neyman, daughter of Erika Willis of Eugene and Roy Neyman of Seattle, has accepted admission to the Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon and plans to study Chinese and Spanish and to compete on the Ultimate Frisbee team. She is a member of National Honor Society and plays flute in the CHS Wind Ensemble.
Lisa Neyman, daughter of Erika Willis of Eugene and Roy Neyman of Seattle, plans to attend Oregon State University to study marine biology or zoology. She was a member of the successful Ultimate Frisbee team and National Honor Society.
Rachel Reynolds, daughter of Stan and Jill Reynolds, plans to major in business at Oregon State University. She served for four years as a member of the CHS Leadership group and served this year as president of the senior class. She also played varsity golf and Powder Puff football.
Chase Thomet, son of Karen and Kurt Thomet of Eugene, plans to major in marketing at the University of Santa Clara School of Business. He competed in tennis at district and state levels. He was a "Mr. Lancer" contestant, a freshman adviser and president of National Honor Society.
