For three to four days, you'll be immersed with others who want to remain at the top of the teaching profession as you focus on Professional Development, Vendor Interaction, Networking, and have the opportunity to participate in an array of specialized technical labs and workshops.
The general sessions offer you the opportunity to hear from cutting-edge speakers like John Warner, President of the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry. In addition to keynote presentations, we've carved out plenty of time to give you the opportunity to network with your colleagues and share ideas in over 100 professional development learning sessions. In addition, there are five specialized preconference workshops offered on Wednesday. Later in the week, look for the traditional International Luncheon and ITEA Awards Luncheon. Returning next year by popular demand are the Engineering byDesign[TM] series of learning labs offered for elementary, middle, and high school teachers. Educational tours of local Charlotte facilities (to include the NASCAR technical institute, green retrofitted homes, and a solar manufacturer) are in the planning stages.
