HISTORIAN Dan Cruickshank has been granted access to some of the finest manor houses that are not open to the public, and this week he visits Kinross House, 'one of the most beautiful classical buildings in Britain'. Architect Sir William Bruce designed this in the 17th century, and it is a picturesque example of early classical architecture, looking out onto Loch Leven.
