A NORTH East expert is to be rewarded next week for the international impact of his research into sports science and medicine.
Dr Glyn Howatson, Northumbria University's associate director for sport research, will travel to the United States to present research in Denver, Colorado, and be awarded a Fellowship from the American College of Sports Medicine. The Fellowship is given in recognition of distinguished professional achievements and service in the field of exercise science and sports medicine.
