506 of 984 Pass Board Examinations for Physical, Occupational Therapy


MANILA, Philippines - A total of 506 graduates passed the Physical and Occupational Therapists Licensure Examinations administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the cities of Manila and Cebu earlier this month.The successful examinees, from a total of 984, qualify for a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration which will be issued to them starting Aug 3, 2011 but not later than Aug. 24, 2011.The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and the University of the Santo Tomas (UST) dominated the roster of topnotchers in the Physical Therapist board exam in which 458 passed.The top 10 new physical therapists are:1. Michael Thomas Gamatan Roldan (PLM), 86.80;2. Romeo Cyril Cagampan Paguyo Jr. (UST), 85.45;3. Mary Grace Dimla Santos (PLM), 85.404. Eunice Salamitao Chin (PLM), 85.20;5. Joann Uy The (UST), 84.60;6. Lauren Icmat Rivera (UST), 84.25;7. Raymond Crisostomo Bartolome (PLM), 84.20;8. Jorrel Roxas Mendoza, University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, 83.95;9. Kristina Bebita Devora (UST), 83.80;10. Ana Marie Datay Narvaez (PLM), 83.75Meanwhile, the successful occupational therapist examinees who garnered the two highest places among the 48 who passed were University of the Philippines-Manila graduates: 1.
