HER elegant designs have been featured at film premieres, the Oscars and in the Sex and the City movies.

She is also one of the Duchess of Cambridge's favourite designers.

British designer Jenny Packham has finally arrived after 25 years.

And her new No.1 occasion range at Debenhams will bring her work to a new demographic - with prices starting at pounds 18 for jewellery and stretching to pounds 160 for full-length gowns.

"The No.1 Jenny Packham collection means that even more women will be able to enjoy our work, to feel glamorous and confident in the way they look," said Jenny, sister of zoologist Chris Packham, who fronts BBC1's Springwatch.

The Forties film noir femme fatale-inspired collection will also include shoes, headwear and dresses perfect for any bride or bridesmaid. "I have taken some of our most feminine and glamorous styles and evolved them into a collection for Debenhams.

"The red dress is a favourite for me as it has an understated dare devil appeal."

The 47-year-old's speciality is evening wear and red carpet glamour, with price tags of up to pounds 5,000. The Duchess of Cambridge is clearly a huge fan, though, as she's worn four of Jenny's dresses in the past year, most memorably a shimmering beaded rose pink chiffon gown at her first public engagement as a married woman last summer.
