GUATEMALA -- (AP) Con un gol de tiro libre de Marco Pappa en el ltimo tramo del partido, Guatemala desbarat la alegra de EEUU al empatarle 1-1 en las eliminatorias de la CONCACAF al Mundial de Brasil 2014. Tras el empate de visita, EEUU qued con 4 puntos en dos fechas. Guatemala, en tanto, conquist su primera unidad. EEUU tom el control en el primer tiempo e inquiet a Guatemala hasta que abri el marcador a los 39 minutos con el gol del mediocampista Clint Dempsey tras recibir un pase corto de Fabian Johnson desde la izquierda.
