NO ONE should have to suffer the heartache Kaylene Donohue, of Golden Beach, has experienced in her life.
But after losing a cousin, her youngest brother and her own three children to suicide, Kaylene has found a slither of hope from the support she has received from others over the dreadfully painful years.
C[pounds sterling]When my youngest brother died, it affected the whole family,C[yen] she said.

Kaylene has been dealing with suicide and its effects since she first lost her brother at age 32.
Her elder son Terry Skewes was only 21 when he took his life in 1993.
Kaylene said the trauma of suicide for those left behind was something that never went away and could not be pushed aside to be dealt with later.
C[pounds sterling]One of the saddest things I heard once was when my youngest son, Brad Co his only son Harley (16) messaged me on Facebook and said, CyAll I want is my dad,C[yen] she said.
Kaylene admits every day is still a challenge and believes she will be on anti-depressants for the rest of her life.
