Fortinet Addresses Latest Cyber Threats at Quarterly Channel Workshop
Fortinet has recently conducted its Quarterly Channel Workshop Series at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. The seminar was attended by Fortinet resellers and partners who learned about securing networks against cyber threats, particularly Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) and web application attacks.
The workshop was facilitated by Fortinet Philippines' Channel Account Manager Armi Caagbay Zafra and Systems Engineer Angelo Castro II. Topics discussed include the latest trends in DDoS and web attacks, the efficacy and sufficiency of firewalls and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) against threats, and differences between firewalls, IPS and DDoS mitigation appliances. The program included an in-depth look at how Fortinet's FortiDDoS and FortiWeb solutions can safeguard web services and assets, a growing concern among IT experts and practitioners.
