Land a Sunshine Break; Jet off on the Millennium Trip of a Lifetime to Sun-Kissed Tenerife or Lanzarote and Celebrate in Style

TODAY we're giving you another chance to win the millennium holiday of a lifetime.

We've teamed up with Direct Holidays, Scotland's largest and fastest growing tour operator, to give away 10 fabulous breaks in the sun-drenched Canary Islands.

Today we are giving away two holidays - one for a family (two adults and two children) and one for a couple - and there will be another two holidays each day until Wednesday.

All are for one week self-catering and there's a choice of departure dates and destinations - lively Tenerife, or laid-back Lanzarote.

Tenerife is probably the most popular of the Canary Islands. Situated off the north-west coast of Africa, it enjoys all-year round sun.

Our winners will stay at the Cristian Sur Apartments in Los Cristianos which have two swimming pools, surrounded by gardens and sun terraces.

There are bars and restaurants near the complex and the resort's beaches are a five-minute walk away.

Lanzarote is the ideal place to find fabulous sunshine in dramatic settings. Winners who choose to holiday in Lanzarote can stay in either the El Guarapo Apartments in relaxing Costa Teguise, or La Laguneta II Apartments in lively Puerto del Carmen.

Costa Teguise is a purpose-built resort, which boasts a beautiful sandy beach, with plenty of shops and bars.

The El Guarapo Apart-ments are situated in a peaceful setting only 300 metres from the beach and 500 metres from a selection of restaurants and bars.

For those who prefer a livelier location, Puerto del Carmen is perfect, with a dark, sandy beach and a coastal promenade featuring endless bars, restaurants, shops and discos.

La Laguneta II Apartments offer three swimming pools surrounded by decorative gardens.

If you're not one of our lucky winners, but you'd like to get away in the millennium, make sure you get hold of Direct Holidays special 'Millennium Holiday Sale' brochure. …
