Udino J. Goegan formerly of Mount Prospect
The family and friends of Udino J. Goegan will meet for visitation at 9 a.m. Monday, at St. Thomas Becket Church, 1321 Burning Bush, Mount Prospect, and continue with a Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
A veteran of the Korean War, he was the dear beloved husband of Rose (nee Gentile); loving father of Annamarie Phillips, Joanne (John) Podjasek, Dino (Laurie) and Michael (Lisa); cherished grandfather of Anthony, Brian, Gina, Nicholas and Janie; fond brother of Lena (Tony) Salvaggio; and dear brother-in-law and friend of many.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, Vitucci Sons Directors, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle.

Raymond E. Snarski of Mount Prospect
Funeral services for Raymond E. Snarski, 60, will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Monday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Zachary Catholic Church, 567 W. Algonquin, Des Plaines.
Born Dec. 6, 1939, in Chicago, he died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Victoria Snarski (nee Vignola), whom he married Oct. 8, 1960; children, Nicholas Snarski of Citrus Heights, Calif., Christine (Ross) Norcross of Arlington Heights, Vincent Snarski of Mount Prospect and Ronald Snarski of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, Kyle, Tonya and Kevin; and brother, Eugene (Cecelia) Snarski of Hillside.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Josephine Snarski.

Arthur Albert Amling a lifelong resident of Des Plaines
A memorial service for Arthur Albert Amling will be held at 11 a.m. today, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 855 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born May 2, 1923, in Des Plaines, he died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, in Des Plaines. Interment will be private.
Mr. Amling attended Immanuel Lutheran Grade School in Des Plaines, graduated from Maine Township High School in 1941, and attended Valparaiso University from 1941 to 1943.
An Army veteran, he served in the 89th Chemical Mortar Battalion, with tour of duty in Europe from 1943 to 1945.
He was a partner in Amling Brothers Wholesale Florists in Des Plaines from 1945 to 1954, and Amling's Toyland in Des Plaines from 1955 to 1963. From 1965 until his retirement in 1990 he owned doughnut shops in Mount Prospect, Palatine, Crystal Lake and Schaumburg.
Mr. Amling served on the board of directors of First National Bank of Des Plaines from 1965 to 1975. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, serving on the board of trustees and the board of managers on the church endowment fund.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia (nee Butz); daughters, Melissa (William) Broman of Crystal Lake and Cynthia (Richard) Dase of Schaumburg; son, Michael of Wheaton; grandchildren, Heather Swanson, Hilary Swanson and Peter Amling; sister, Annette Reincke of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and brothers, Robert (Beverly) of Nokomis, Fla. and Victor (Jean) of Crystal Lake.
