It was a simple case of being in the right place at the right time for Illinois Wesleyan junior forward Todd Wente.
Wente rebound basket of an errant shot by Laban Cross with 1 second left in double overtime gave Illinois Wesleyan a 115-113 victory over Aurora University in an exhilarating nonconference game played at Aurora University's Thornton Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.
"I give Laban Cross all the credit for keeping the ball alive and getting a shot off," Wente said. "I was surprised the ball came to me. I just shot not knowing how much time was left. This is a great win on the road. We kept our poise and ā¦
