Program Aims to Prevent Students from Joining Cults

Cults are alive and recruiting on American college campuses, according to a nationally recognized cult awareness expert.
Ron Loomis, a cult awareness educator and consultant, will address the appeal and danger of cults on college campuses at a special presentation today at the College of Lake County.
The program, "Twenty Years After Jonestown, What Have We Learned About Cults? Cults on Campus: The Appeal, The Danger," will be presented at 7:30 p.m. in the CLC auditorium.
The program is open to the public. General admission is $2. Admission is free for CLC students and alumni; however, tickets are required through the college box office. Call (847) 543-2300.
