Stevenson Reaches Goal with Positive Philosophy
Development rather than wins and losses is the goal each year for Stevenson's junior varsity badminton team.
The Patriots have been successful this season in reaching that objective. They also have done well in wins and losses.
"Our philosophy is to learn and improve," said coach Ed Kositzki, whose team was 6-5 after 11 of its scheduled 13 matches. "We had a fantastic season."
One reason for the good performance by the Patriots was experience by a couple of players.
Susie Steinberg and Seema Joglakar led the group of returning players.
