Anne Rabbat of Mount Prospect has toured the world on the strength of her violin virtuosity.
She has performed in Russia, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Los Angeles, even the White House - which, these days, probably is a wilder place than any of the above.
However, her favorite performances have been those closer to home. "All those foreign concerts kind of run together for me," she said. Rabbat prefers Orchestra Hall in Chicago, where she estimated she has performed 20 times.
"It's a formal atmosphere, but it's close enough to home to be memorable," Rabbat said.
