Magrane Roughed Up in Final Tuneup

NEW YORK - It wasn't much of a tuneup, but Joe Magrane says he's ready to return to the starting rotation.
The 31-year-old left-hander, a former starter with St. Louis and California, is scheduled to start on Saturday when the Yankees visit Comiskey Park.
Magrane pitched two-thirds of an inning in relief against New York Sunday and gave up 3 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks.
"Magrane had a rough outing," manager Terry Bevington said.
Magrane, who gave up 2 runs in 3 1/3 innings at Cleveland last Wednesday, agreed with Bevington's assessment.
