IDOT Will Funnel Funds into Fox River Bridge Studies

Illinois Department of Transportation officials will continue pouring money into studies that will determine where the best place for new Fox River crossings should be built.
They have also released the roads they plan to resurface in 1997.
Next year, IDOT officials will spend $440,000 on feasibility and environment studies for the proposed new bridges.
"We are looking at seven locations from Algonquin to Aurora," said Mark Bagherpour, IDOT federal aid engineer.
