ERIC Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation, WorldLingo, Inc. Partner to Deliver Education Literature

The ERIC Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation and WorldLingo, Inc. have announced the formation of a strategic alliance to make the world's largest education database accessible to the non-English-speaking world. Effective immediately, teachers, researchers, and members of the public may search the ERIC database at SearchERIC.org in German and Spanish as well as in English. Users search by entering keywords in English or their own language and then receive descriptions of relevant journal articles and documents in both languages.

"Once again, ERIC is at the leading edge of information science and making a demonstrable commitment to reaching out to the education community in its broadest sense," said Lawrence Rudner, director of the ERIC Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation. "We are pleased that a prestigious international company shares our interest in helping educators around the world."

To try the new search engine, visit http://searcheric.org or select Search ERIC from the home page of the ERIC Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation at http://ericae.
