The Literacy Connection will hold its Trivia Bee 2001 on April 7 at Elliot's Banquet, 1055 N. Randall Road, Elgin.
The festive day will begin with team registration starting at 10 a.m. and the first round begins promptly at 11 a.m.
To enter a team, you simply need to call (847) 742-6565 and they will send you an entry form. The cost per team is $475. There is still one sponsorship available for a team that has no funds.
The Trivia Bee tests the capacity of participants to remember both frivolous and important facts. A traveling trophy for first place, along with valuable prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.
It is free to come and watch. Audiences seem to find the competition to be entertaining and fun. Once again, between rounds and throughout the day, door prizes and raffle prizes will be awarded to those attending the event.
Raffle prizes are donated by area businesses. Anyone willing to donate a prize should call (847) 742-6565.
The Trivia Bee helps raise money for the Literacy Connection and its existing programs.
