Superintendent Gerald Chapman will continue his long career in education as the new associate dean for Roosevelt University's College of Education after he retires this summer as the head of Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211.
Roosevelt President Theodore L. Gross said the university tapped Chapman for the newly created position because it has a "strong education agenda" in the works given a potential teacher shortage on the horizon.
Chapman was approached to oversee the growing education college at Roosevelt's Albert A. Robin campus in Schaumburg because officials knew the veteran educator would ā¦
