No matter how much European socialists complain, President Bush has taken precisely the right tack on the issue of climate change.

He said we need better information.

Virtually every credible scientific study has made the same point. However, the studies have been manipulated by politicians and the media to appear to be a ringing endorsement of the theory of global warming.

One reason for the uncertainty is the inability of scientists, even armed with the most modern, most powerful computers, to adequately model the incredibly complex world weather patterns, and therefore forecast trends.
