Fabulous fake floors

Real stone floors can be expensive, but they look wonderful so what's the affordable solution? Classical Flagstones in Wiltshire has been producing handmade replicas of ancient flagstones and limestone flooring since 1987, and the result is almost indistinguishable from the originals. I used its York stone in my kitchen 10 years ago and it improved with age and was easy to maintain. The range starts at [pound]26 a square metre. For a brochure, call 0117 937 1960 or visit www.

Waste not want not

For more information and a catalogue, ring The Green Shop on 01452 770629 or email enquiries@greenshop.co.uk.

Cleaned out

Cleaning the oven has to be one of the most dreary domestic chores on the list, so if you can't stand it try The Oven Cleaning Company. It will come to your home and have your oven or cooker spotless inside and out in less than two hours.

Only non-caustic products are used and the service is, it claims, mess free. Prices start from [pound]24. Call The Oven Cleaning Company on 01428 609938.
