GARY Megson's Premiership side hit rock bottom as they were dumped out of the Cup.
They now face only a fight for top-flight survival after Icelandic striker Heidar Helguson's goal nine minutes from time put First Division Watford in the fifth round.
Only a brilliant 55th-minute penalty save by Russell Hoult from Watford skipper Neil Cox prevented further Albion embarrassment.
Megson, whose men are second from bottom, just above West Ham on goal difference, blasted them in the dressing room and then spoke out later.
"I can have no complaints about the result," he stormed after giving his players a tongue-lashing. ā¦
