The accomplishments of Fox Valley's best and brightest students include:
University of Wisconsin-Whitewater: University of Wisconsin- Whitewater announced that 2,498 students were named to the winter 2002 honor roll. To be eligible for honors, students must have a 3.4 semester grade point average with a minimum of 12 semester credits and no grades lower than a "C."
Local students named to the honor roll include:
Algonquin: Kristin Chamberlain, sophomore, physical education; Todd Okeson, junior, finance; Nicole Ostrowski, senior, elementary education.
Cary: Melissa Brixius, senior, elementary education; Alan Cole, sophomore, management computer systems; Michelle Eisenbeis, sophomore, general management; Christine Kilvinger, junior, sociology.
Elgin: Julie Burnidge, junior, sociology; Keely Larson, sophomore, English; Derek Schweitzer, freshman, international studies; Kate Volkening, freshman, pre-business.
