Before athletes such as Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, golfer Tiger Woods and tennis player Andy Roddick went pro, they debuted in "Faces in the Crowd," a section of Sports Illustrated magazine that recognizes high school talent.
After being featured in the magazine's July 23 edition, Uniontown- area native and track and field all-star Breehana Jacobs can now add "nationwide recognition" to her extensive list of sports achievements.
The 18-year-old Laurel Highlands Senior High School graduate said she first became interested in running track after attending a fifth- grade track meet.
