State's Lamb and Wool Queen Is Cut Above

Belle Vernon native Rebecca Giles has had a whirlwind year.
As the Pennsylvania Lamb and Wool Queen, the California University of Pennsylvania sophomore has traveled nearly 10,000 miles.
She will participate in the Governor's Ball in Harrisburg this month.
"Rebecca works hard at everything she does," said her mother, Marianne Tucheck. "Obviously, we are very proud, and she has earned everything on her own efforts."
Giles is a member of the university marching band while also busy with a half-dozen other social and service organizations.
Giles, who is majoring in technology education with a minor in music, also takes care of her own sheep -- ā¦
