My life in the snow 'I wish I could teleport myself so I didn't have to travel'
FIRST HOLIDAY MEMORY?
It was probably when I was 10 or 11. I went to the coast, to Merimbula [New South Wales, Australia] with a friend and her family, and we caught crabs and swam on the beach. It's a good memory.
That's easy: Fiji for the Roxy Pro Women's Surfing Festival. I think the island where we stayed is the most beautiful place in the world - the weather was absolutely amazing, the water was nice and warm, we surfed three times a day, and there was amazing food to eat. It was just heaven.
FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE BRITISH ISLES?
I've only been to London. I like walking the streets and seeing everybody. I love the buildings. As well as the shopping.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT FROM YOUR TRAVELS?
To travel light. I have no excuses this trip; I don't have a snowboard with me.
IDEAL TRAVELLING COMPANION?
My sister. We have a lot of fun together. We are the greatest friends and we just laugh non-stop. We probably look very goofy and silly, but we have a lot of fun.
BEACH BUM, CULTURE VULTURE OR ADRENALIN JUNKIE?
I want to say beach bum; I'm definitely a beach girl. But what I love about travelling is the culture and my snowboard, so I also like a bit of adrenalin too. Maybe a little bit of each.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST TRAVEL LUXURY?
My iPod is my best friend while I'm travelling.

On the little promotional tour I'm doing through Europe we stopped in Madrid. …
