A friend and I swapped favourite books a few months back. Mine was Geek Love by Katherine Dunn and his was The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami, and I loved it so much that I went straight out and bought another book by him, Dance Dance Dance. A little book I read waiting for the book in the post to arrive was Maxence Fermine's Snow. I have a not-so-secret love affair with Japan, you see, and these books help with my cravings for more of it before February when I'm touring there again.
Film
Films-wise I'm really excited to see Almodovar's latest, Volver. I'm hoping it'll be on the in-flight movie menu, crossing the Atlantic this weekend. ā¦
