Kathleen Zimbicki of Collier Township is president of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year with more than 70 exhibits in museums, galleries and other art spaces throughout the Pittsburgh region, showcasing the talents of its more than 450 members. Being president during such a special time with the organization "means a lot," says Zimbicki, who has been a member of Associated Artists since the '70s and was president in 1993. Art has been her life, she says. Her medium is watercolors and most of her works are "fantasy-related."
