St. Charles officials say they are scrambling to help guide organizers of festivals through additional steps intended to help make their events more enjoyable to the public and palatable to the merchants and residents along Main Street.
On Tuesday, the City Council discussed suggestions regarding festivals from a festival review committee. Council members accepted the report of the committee, which was unanimous in its recommendations. Although the council did not endorse the recommendations, none of the members spoke against any of the suggestions.
