Tony Greig Reveals He Has Lung Cancer
Former England Test cricket captain Tony Greig has revealed that he has a form of lung cancer. "I have had a few scrapes in my life and this is another one," said Greig, 66 (pictured). He vowed that his wife Vivian will help him to battle the disease. "Vivian and I are going to put the boxing gloves on and fight this like we've never fought anything before," he said. He first became aware of the problem while commentating on Australia's one-day series against Pakistan in Dubai in August and September. South African-born Greig became a leading player in Kerry Packer's World Series Cricket in 1977.
