HISTORY: The business school formed in 1998 and later took over Dundee University's management and consumer studies department. In addition to business and management it teaches tourism, information systems, accounting and finance, and law.

AMBIENCE: The Old College was recently completely refurbished and offers up-to-date teaching and work spaces with audio-visual technology, and access to Abertay's virtual library and data archives.
VITAL STATISTICS: The school offers full-time (12 months), part- time (24 months) and flexible (36 months) forms of study for its MBA programme. After completing the core modules, students have a choice of six specialist pathways, including corporate finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, human resource management, international management and biotechnology. The awards of postgraduate certificate and diploma are also available depending on entry qualifications and numbers of modules completed.
ADDED VALUE: Students provide consultancy services to their employers particularly through dissertation work. Also offer workshops on specific management skills, such as team building, leadership and communication.
